Barefoot® Saddles are the result of extensive research, a European Tree-Free Riding Concept, now available here! Introduced into the United States in 2004, Barefoot saddles have been used extensively and successfully by Endurance Riders, Competitive Trail Riders and Weekend Warriors alike. Designed by a German Physiotherapist, the Barefoot saddles are the result of many years of research, development and professional knowledge. You are about to discover the closest, safest experience next to bareback riding. This is an item used personally by the people at Lori's Tack, and we are thrilled to recommend it to you! Our Barefoot saddles are the Original and Genuine Barefoot® Saddles, designed by and manufactured on behalf of, Barefoot® in Germany. Treeless saddles are a wonder for the horse, as well as the rider. The horse can move as nature intended, without any restriction from a wooden or solid tree. The rider feels the movement, the arch of the horse's back and both enjoy the freedom. There are many treeless saddles on the market. The Barefoot saddle is great for those seeking a secure, lightweight english rigged saddle that is a big step up in quality, while remaining easy on the budget! Many styles are available, the Cheyenne, London, Tahoe and Atlanta, along with the western styles, the Western Rigged Arizona which is available by special order, and the Sierra. The barefoot saddle is
made from a soft, nubuck leather which is breathable, secure and easily
conforms to the horse's back. A note on color: Black is a
soft black, not a jet black. This is true with ANY nubuck leather
product. We use only natural vegetable oils/dyes to color
our saddles. As black is not a natural leather color, the shade
will vary somewhat from saddle to saddle. The pommel and cantle are both
filled with a formed fiberglass for stability. On the Cheyenne (english),
the cantle is filled with a firm, thick PU foam, instead of the formed
fiberglass. The pommel forms are completely removable, and can be stuffed with a
wool, or other material of the rider's choice. The best features of
this saddle: 3. Lots of D rings (stainless steel) to hang your trail ridin' stuff. (5 on each saddle) 4. English rigging...easy on you...easy on the horse. Any dressage girth will work! 5. . Best of all, it won't break the bank at 649.00 for the CHEYENNE, 829.00 for the LONDON DRESSAGE and 899.00 for the ARIZONA, the snazzy TAHOE, is 829.00 and the ATLANTA and SIERRA are 799.00 and 829.00, repectively. A note on saddle delivery time: We try to keep saddles in stock at all times. Due to their popularity, sometimes saddles are not available immediately. Saddles usually take 48 business hours to ship from the time your order is received. If there will be a delay beyond that, we will contact you immediately. HAPPY RIDING! |
